Ice Cube is an actor, rapper and a writer from the United States of America. Ice Cube was born in Baldwin Hills of the South Central Los Angeles area. He was born on the 15th of June in the year of 1969. He is currently 49 years old now. Ice Cube initially gained prominence when he was part of the rap group C.I.A in the era of the 1980s. He is married to Kimberly Woodruff and has four children from his marriage. His rap group C.I.A disbanded after being together for just three years, and then Ice Cube went on to form the rap group N.W.A with Eazy E and Dr. Dre.
He was N.W.A’s main songwriter and headline performer, and it was during those years that he gained massive notoriety and mainstream popularity. His music has elements of political rap and gangsta rap as well as hip hop. Ice Cube also entered the Hollywood movie industry when he took part in the movie ‘Boyz n the Hood’ which was released in the year 1991. He has also ventured into the business world when he released his clothing line named ‘Solo by Cube’. He has starred in some famous American movies such as Ride Along and produced the critically acclaimed ‘Straight Outta Compton’ in 2015.
