Jim Carrey is a comedian, musician and an actor from Canada. He was born in Newmarket, which is a suburb in the city of Toronto in Ontario. Jim Carrey was born on the 17th of January in the year of 1962. He is currently 57 years old now. Jim Carrey was raised in a Roman Catholic household. He had three siblings in his family and his mother and father was a homemaker and a musician. He was married to Jenny McCarthy and has one child from his marriage. Carrey as a young child attended the Aldershot High School.
Jim Carrey gained popularity when he took part in the sketch comedy show “In Living Color” in the 1990s. Jim Carrey struggled on in the early stages of his career when he performed in several standup comedy shows in and around Toronto. He gained his first major starring role in the year 1994 when he starred in the movie “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective”.
